Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP)

Childcare Subsidies

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides low-income, working families with access to high-quality, affordable child care, which allows the parents to continue working and contributes to the consistency and success of each child’s early education experience.

Families are required to cost-share on a sliding scale based on family size, income and number of children in care, and must provide income documentation and proof of employment or school enrollment. CNE partners with the McGaw YMCA, Reba Early Learning Center, Waraich Family Child Care, and Swift Childcare in Skokie to provide CCAP services.

The CCAP applications for childcare services are available below in both English and Spanish. If you have an active, current case and need to submit changes to your case, like new job information, family changes or changing/adding a site, please contact CNE for guidance about which forms you will need. 847-475-2661
