Head Start / Early Head Start

All families who participate in Head Start / Early Head Start will be assigned a Family Support Specialist who will work with you to build a relationship, family goals, and provide any referrals that you may need to best support your family.

As a Head Start / Early Head Start grantee, CNE is funded to serve 116 children with its team of Parent Educators, Family Child Care Homes, Early Head Start Classrooms, and Head Start Classrooms.

Home Visiting Services

Our Home Visiting Program brings Head Start/Early Head Start services directly to families with children from birth to age five through weekly home visits and twice-monthly group activities.
Each family works with a dedicated Parent Educator who uses the Parents As Teachers curriculum to help you become your child's first teacher. Together, parents and Parent Educators create educational goals and personalized lesson plans to prepare your child for success in Head Start or Kindergarten.
